Corporate Profile

Since the late 1970s, Under the management of Mr. James Lim, Tony Lim and fellow colleagues, L.T.C. Food Supplier P/L together with Hai Lian Enterprises, has progressed to a major distributor of farm fresh fruits and vegetables in Singapore, commanding a large share of the supply for fruits & vegetables in the local business market.

Our Strengths

Good Business Practice

With over 4 decades of experience in the industry, LTC did not have any debt issues as compared to many new competitors that have come and closed. Suppliers trust LTC and their support is an intangible asset.

To ensure prompt payments to suppliers, we take good business practices such as quoting sustainable prices, monitoring costs, and ensure prompt payments from customers to improve cash flow seriously. Many of our competitors quote low unsustainable prices that result in severe losses & default on their suppliers.

Business risks such as price fluctuations due to supply shocks caused by worsening climate, changes in Government policies to tighten foreign labor, and cost increases from transportation to wages have to be considered with care. Thus clients should conduct credit and financial assessments on their suppliers to avoid problems later.

Social Responsibility & Motivated Personnel

As directed by MOM Work Right policies, LTC makes reasonable efforts to hire and develop Singaporeans 1st. Flexible / part-time work arrangements, restructuring work to fit locals’ requirements from young to old and different races cooperate together under one roof. Thus, the staff turnover rate is very low to provide reliable services.

LTC personnel is fully committed to providing personalized services to their customers. All administrative, operational, and delivery staff are trained with relevant skills which is one of LTC’s intangible assets.

Direct Imports & Wholesale

With high sales volume, direct import of supplies and wholesale business enables LTC to enhance its price competitiveness.
LTC’s fresh fruits & vegetables are sourced from farms in West Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Australia, and the USA, etc.
With a wider source of goods, we are able to minimize disruptions if disasters occur e.g. floods.

Regular visits to our growers help to maintain a good relationship and stable supply of fresh quality harvests for LTC.

Fresh carrots are packed immediately after harvest from Sun City farm of Centre West.

Wide distribution Network

LTC has over 35 years of experience in logistics and delivery. Currently, LTC has more than 15 delivery trucks (including contractors) making two delivery rounds daily, 7 days a week, all over Singapore mainland and Sentosa Island.

Strong Office & Administrative Support

Few suppliers are able to match a short delivery lag time, from night order to delivery the next morning.
We have more than 10 Office staff allocated to service our customers in 2 shifts 8 am-10 pm.

Our IT hardware & business software is upgraded at least every 3 years to ensure our business information system is reliable and productive.
All these investments will increase our capacity and reliability to process more hundreds of customers’ orders daily.
